Solve for Tomorrow Competition 2024/25 Launch

We had an incredible time at the Solve for Tomorrow Competition 2024/25 Launch! 🎉

Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow program, now in its 5th year, kicked off in style, bringing together a new generation of young innovators, industry experts, and inspiring role models. The event began with a workshop where students learned how tech can be used to address pressing real-world issues. It was amazing to watch the students brainstorm and work through their initial ideas—sparking a world of possibility! 🌍

The highlight of the launch was an insightful panel featuring some seriously impressive figures. We heard from Entrepreneur, broadcaster, and musician Krept, who shared his inspiring journey and entrepreneurial insights. We also got to hear from 2024 winner Anjali Benny Devadasan, who talked about her experience and the impact of winning. We had more than a few nuggets of wisdom from Ilisha Masaun, Founder of Econominds. All expertly chaired by Samsung's Stephanie Chosen, a leader in smartphone marketing.

The audience also had the chance to learn from Chelsea Slater, Co-Founder of InnovateHer, who are once again sponsoring the event as well as more about her company. Deborah Honig, Chief Customer Officer, and Jessie Soohyun Park, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Samsung UK shared insights about the programme and how supporting the next generation of tech-driven problem solvers is so important. It certainly left us all feeling inspired and ready to get involved 💡💪

The 2025 competition promises to be one of the best yet, and applications are open until January 12th. We’re excited to see what amazing ideas this year’s participants will bring to life!
