Breaking Barriers Together: An Inspiring Day with Ellie Simmonds at Ickburgh School

Recently we were able to spend the day with Sure Breaking Limits Programme competition winners Ickburgh School in Hackney with some of their incredible SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) students and GB Paralympian Ellie Simmonds!

From dancing with students to engaging meet-and-greets throughout the school, Ellie’s energy and story of how she's broken down barriers inspired everyone to move with confidence. We wrapped up the day with an inspiring Q&A session, leaving the students (and us!) motivated and uplifted.

A huge thank you to Ellie and the wider team including our Rexona clients and Edelman colleagues for making the day so special, and to the staff and students at Ickburgh School for welcoming us with open arms. We had an absolute blast! 🙌💙
