Bake the Most of Life

The Bake the Most of Life programme empowers all young people to build skills and lead healthier lives. Curriculum-linked resources, created by our education experts, develop skills and ambition, empower all young people to take shared responsibility for their health and wellbeing and encourage them to care for themselves and others.

We launched a set of core modules with content including lesson plans, interactives, and competitions, designed to engage 5 – 14 year olds and their families. The content is designed to build life skills and employability skills, equipping participants to excel

Central to this was The Bake the Most of Life hub we built to create an ongoing relationship with schools and families.

Jonathan Warburton

“We’re proud to say that we are a family business and one which is committed to supporting schools through our education programme up and down the country.

Launching the Eatwell Guide and Ultimate Lunchbox Competition as an arm of the Warburtons Foundation has enabled us to reaffirm this support. In what has been a very testing couple of years, we will continue to listen and act so that we can support young people as best we can and feel lucky to be in a position where we can help provide such important learning resources”.

The lessons contain a vast amount of knowledge and build upon the importance of health and wellbeing.

Teacher

I love the whole idea and would use it. I think the fact that you have clearly packaged it to use for a one off business day/enterprise day or to be used in the usual hour long DT lesson is perfect.

Teacher

The lessons are engaging, full of fun and provide many cross-curricular links relating to health.

Warburtons’ family values are at the heart of everything the business does.

A changing landscape for life and education has accelerated the divide between disadvantaged young people and their peers. This has been devastating as those from disadvantaged backgrounds are losing the opportunity to develop the skills that help them succeed in life and work.

Through our Bake the Most of life programme, Warburtons seeks to empower everyone to live family values, whether they experience them or aspire to them. Broadening the definition of family and the positive impacts it creates, leading the way at home, in schools, and in our communities. The Bake the Most of Life hub was created to build the brand’s positive impact on young people and families through the creation of quality classroom experiences that share these values with the next generation.
